Bedford Pole Capping (2012)

The Sudbury Companies of Militia and Minute were invited to the reenactment of the liberty pole capping that preceded the Battles of Lexington and Concord. The pole capping was hosted by the Bedford Minutemen Company. Liberty poles adorned with red caps were signs of defiance of the crown during the colonial period.
